Q: What is the difference between exterior wet and exterior damp for scones?
Asked May 12, 2008
1 Answer
A: The difference between wet lable and damp lable is this: Wet location fixtures can be mounted so that they are in direct contact with the elements. This means they can be rained on and it won't hurt the fixture. Damp location means that it can go outside, but it has to be under either an eave or an overhang. The difference between the two sconces is exactly as you said. One is flush up against the wall and the other extends out.
